OpenAI Certification
Announced certification programme (AI Foundations, building toward a full OpenAI Certification), piloted with employers and universities since late 2025. No public exam blueprint, fee, proctoring, scoring, or date for general availability published; tracked here pending one. Note: the free OpenAI Academy course badges are a separate offering that OpenAI explicitly does not call a certification.
What this bank covers
Nothing is written for this certification yet, and that is deliberate. OpenAI has published no exam blueprint, fee, proctoring model, scoring rule or general-availability date; the programme is running as a pilot with named employers and universities, with the assessment delivered inside ChatGPT. Writing practice questions now would mean inventing a syllabus and presenting it as OpenAI's. We are tracking it and will build the bank when a blueprint exists. (The free OpenAI Academy course badges are a separate offering that OpenAI explicitly does not call a certification.)
